Jason's Surprise was pretty neat. We definitely had the best hiding place, and we got to see the Tap. Who feels like a preserved moose on stage? I know I do. I got a job (finally) and we'll see how things can work with this screwed up schedule I got going. Should be an adventure, anyways. Maybe I'll learn harmonica to relax. You know, in the topsy turvy world of rock n roll, it's always good to have a hefty piece of wood in your hands.

You know, I just realized; School is going to be really hectic. I've been thinking like "Oh, senior year, I can be lazy, especially since my schedule is screwed up and I have no classes." But really, even that extra time isn't going to make that much of a difference. Having practice after school in the fall is really going to screw me up. :p Should be a fun time.

NEW YORK (AP) - Patrik Elias jump-started the streaking New Jersey Devils in the playoff opener and then used another flourish to sweep away the New York Rangers.
Elias scored two goals and assisted on Scott Gomez's power-play goal early in the second period - that wiped out the Rangers' only lead of the series - giving the Devils a 4-2 win Saturday and ending the first-round matchup in four straight games.

Brian Gionta sealed the deal 4:30 into the third period with the Devils' third short-handed goal of the series after a terrible turnover by Petr Sykora.

Elias ripped in another goal, his fifth of the series, with 6:39 left to make it 4-1.

The Rangers scored only four times in four games, while yielding 17 goals.

New Jersey will have to wait to find out who it

will meet in the second round, but will enter that series just as it did this one - as the hottest team in the NHL. The workmanlike Devils stretched their winning streak to 15 games, tying the league mark for the longest run that spanned the regular season and playoffs.

I know it only matters to me, but that is 15 wins in a row and a sweep of the Rangers, our arch-rivals. Everyone can ignore it, if they want to :p

Well, I would have to go with Elton John because I listened to his music before I had even heard of David Bowie. However, can you imagine those two together....and if we were there too! We would have the two coolest gay guys ever and the two coolest straight guys ever!

In other news, Fabio and Gabriel Fagundes today pulled off a spectacular team tornado attack, as both of their essays were selected out of Niskayuna Students for...some scholarship type thing. Details forthcoming, and hopefully copies of the essays, especially the pirate one, which is one of the greatest pieces of work, you will ever see. Thoreau would love it.
